Dear Reader, Hello!!

This is my first blog post... ever! Blogging is a new adventure that I am looking forward to.

A fair warning, though. My view of investing extends beyond the strict perspective of finance. I believe investing isn't about the pursuit of money. It seems to me that it's more about living a rich life: a life rich with time, with possibilities and, more importantly, rich with what we desire most. It's about investing in what's important to you. It's about creating the life that you want. That said, I see financial wellness as a core principle, therefore there will be many postings about how to manage money and grow money.
The world of financial investing is high and wide, with strategies to suit everyone, and also plenty of unknowns. It can sometimes be overwhelming, confusing and disappointing. From my own experience, I can say that it's impossible to always make the right decisions: I'm very familiar with the trial and error method. If my learnings are helpful to you as you progress on your journey to becoming a successful investor then this blog will be a good thing.

My plan is to post information relevant for beginners on a variety of topics from the traditional investing markets like the stock market and real estate, as well as related topics such as good money management practices, investment risks, self-development, investor mindset, etc. I also plan on posting wisdom from authority figures to enhance our learning experience. In addition, I'll post some diary entries as well as my random thoughts as they may emerge - the idea is to bring in some lighter content in between the sometimes dry topic of finance .

If you have questions or if there are topics of particular interest to you that you'd like me to address, I would love it if you post your comments here.

Thank you in advance for your interest!

Yvanne
